WE’RE HIRING: Motorcycle Technician
Pro 6 Cycle a unique multifaceted motorcycle business established in 1995. We have grown to become the leader in racing and performance products and service in the GTA, specializing in late model Japanese and European sport bikes for street and track use.
We are the Canadian distributor for Dunlop motorcycle race tires and the exclusive tire and service supplier for CSBK, Canada’s National motorcycle roadracing series.
In 2021, we established the Pro 6 GP Race Series, a 4 round regional motorcycle racing series with events held at Calabogie Motorsports Park. 2021 also marked the introduction for Ontario’s new dealership of Ohvale motorcycles.
We are the largest provider of motorcycle trackdays in Canada, with events held at Calabogie Motorsports Park, Canadian Tire Motorsports Park and Grand Bend Motorplex. In 2017, we started our TRAC School, an advanced motorcycle performance track riding course, that has received overwhelming praise and support year after year.
We strive to constantly stay ahead of the curve, both on and off the track. Our staff is made up of riders just like you! We are street riders, track riders, road racers, dirt trackers, trail riders, supermoto and mx riders. There isn’t a motorcycle discipline that we aren’t passionate about.
Our ideal candidate will have a 310G Motorcycle Mechanic Trade Certification, or be currently working toward completion of this certification.
Successful applicants should be experienced and confident performing various repair, maintenance and build challenges in their daily tasks including:
• Confidently performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repairs
• Troubleshooting Motorcycle electronics and charging systems
• Familiarity with carbureted and fuel injection systems
• Engine mechanics, maintenance, modifications and upgrades to Japanese, German, American and Italian machines
• Suspension service
• Full tire service
• Strong attention to detail
• Must be able to competently complete vehicle inspections, repairs, and work orders
• Proficient in writing and reading English
• Minimum M2 driver’s license
• Have their own trade specific hand-tools
• Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Physically able to move motorcycles
• An absolute love for all things motorcycles
• The ability to work harmoniously with co-workers
• Experience with Dynojet 250i, Woolich, custom mapping, welding and machining would be a bonus
